Saw an ad in your claude.ai, chatgpt.com, or gemini.google.com sidebar and did a double take? Thought the AI companies had finally started running ads? They haven’t. It was me.

Why ads

Claude Tuner has grown quickly, and so have our server costs. To keep the service stable — and free — we need to fund it.

A paid plan with new features is in the works. Until then, we’re introducing ads to keep the lights on.

Prefer no ads?

The upcoming paid plan will include an ad-free option. Free with ads, or paid without — the goal is to give you both choices.

Where you’ll see them

Below the usage display on the dashboard, the extension popup, and the Claude · ChatGPT · Gemini sidebars. They sit out of the way of the usage information you came for, and every ad is clearly labeled as an ad.

We don’t use your personal data

Ads are targeted by country and interface language only. Your personal information and your conversations are never used for advertising — Claude Tuner never collects them in the first place.

Performance is measured in aggregate; to count distinct viewers we use an irreversible hash of your account identifier for de-duplication only, deleted within 24 hours. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

We’ll keep it light

We’ll keep looking for the line where ads don’t get in your way, and we’ll tune frequency and placement based on what the data shows. Tell us if anything bothers you.

And if they really bother you, tell us that too. If the response is bad enough, we’ll scale them back — or drop them and find another way.
